Waterford Institute of Technology

Waterford Institute of Technology – державний навчальний заклад. В ньому навчається понад 6 тисяч студентів на очному відділенні і 4,5 тисячі – на заочному. ВСІ академічні програми інституту визнані в усьому світі, і користуються системою European Credit Transfer System. Це означає, що після закінчення інституту студент може перевестися в будь-який державний університет Європи з заліком кредитів (тобто, прослуханих в інституті предметів).

Всі споруди інституту були побудовані недавно, після вступу країни в Європейський Союз уряд Ірландії дотує колосальні суми на освіту. Кампус і бібліотека цього технологічний інститут були визнані кращими в Ірландії у вересні 2002 року. Інститут має власний фітнес-центр, крите футбольне поле, гімнастичний зал, тенісні корти.

Академічні програми пропонуються за багатьма спеціальностями – Гуманітарні Дисципліни, Медицина, Природничі Науки і Інформатика, Архітектура, Інженерні Дисципліни, Бізнес, Освіта.WIT підтримує тісні зв’язки з понад 40 університетами по всьому світу, такими як Oxford, Trinity College Dublin, University College London.

Програми навчання:

• Бакалаврат: 3-4 роки
• Сертифікат: 2 роки
• Магістратура: 1 рік
• Підготовчі курси: 1 рік

Вимоги до абітурієнтів:

1) на Сертифікатні та бакалаврські програми:

• атестат про шкільну освіту
• знання англійської мови на рівні не нижче IELTS 5.5

2) на програми магістратури:

• диплом про першу вищу освіту
• знання англійської мови на рівні не нижче IELTS 6.0

3) на підготовчий курс:

• атестат про шкільну освіту
• знання англійської мови на рівні не нижче IELTS 4.5
